Drug addictions are spreading its tentacles all across the Kashmir valley. Children as young as 15 years of age have been reported to be drug abusers. AHWT is trying to counsel such children and bring back them into normal life. In coordination with other governmental and non-governmental organizations, efforts are made to put them back on track by either resuming their studies or help them pick up some skill and work. AHWT is also planning to conduct awareness programmes, hold seminars and other programmes to help youth to escape this menace which is eating into the vitals of the society.
